Taproots at Camp Walden Receives $10,000 Gift from The Diamond Family Foundation
Taproots is excited to announce a gift of $10,000 from The Diamond Family Foundation in support of our mission. “We are thrilled to support Taproots at Camp Walden and their vision for a magical Camp Walden experience for all,” said John Diamond. “My entire family is incredibly proud of the work being done at Taproots.”
John and his two sisters are all Walden alumni who attended camp in the 1970s and 80s.
This is the sixth sizable gift received from The Diamond Family Foundation since Taproots began accepting donations in 2021. Over the past five years, the foundation has donated a total of $46,000 to Taproots.
“The Diamond family has been a cheerleader for Taproots since day one, ” said Liz Stevens, the organization’s founder. “This meaningful contribution will help Taproots continue its work, aim at expanding our programming, and make a lasting impact on the children we serve.”
