Taproots Mini-Week 2025 Brings More Kids to Camp
The Taproots Mini-Week celebrated its fourth summer this year and welcomed 57 Taproots Mini-Week campers and LITs to Camp Walden. This was an increase of 32% over the number of campers who attended Mini-Week the previous year. Mini-Week continues to grow in popularity and demand among the families and communities with which we partner
Mini-Week is building a reputation and becoming an annual tradition for many campers. We are thrilled to see kids returning summer after summer for their time at camp. The benefits of returning to camp each summer are vast. Campers grow in confidence and independence, build on learned skills, and develop a sense of belonging and inclusion. Leadership skills also start to emerge in returning campers as we see them help guide and inform new campers. Taproots Mini-Week campers take great pride in being a returner, and we take great pride in that!
