Next time you’re in Cheboygan, stop by Cheboygan Brewing Co. and thank them for their support of Taproots. In the past two years, the brewery has developed a strong fundraising partnership with Taproots. While enjoying your favorite lager or ale in the brewery, you can also scan a QR code and make a donation directly to Taproots. You can purchase postcards, t-shirts, or magnets featuring a print of a Martin Beek original painting of the brewery. Last fall, the brewery auctioned off the original Beek painting. And once each year, Taproots is the Pints for a Purpose charity at the brewery. All of the proceeds for these efforts go directly to Taproots. The total tally adds up to a big impact being made by the brewery and their patrons.

The Camp Walden community and the Cheboygan Brewing community have a well-loved camaraderie. “When you live in a small town or spend your summer in one, having a truly great place to gather with friends and unwind on a night off is something we are grateful for,” believes Ann Bosenbark, longtime waterfront director at Camp Walden. The fact that the brewery embraces and supports the mission of Taproots deepens those community bonds. “The team at Taproots does great work and we are happy to continue this partnership,” feels brewery manager Brian Lindsey.
